The Kessler 4x4 - A brief recap and some shitty photos from a 21 mile, 14K vert ski day in February.

A few words and a few more photos from a bikepacking bachelor party in Idaho, September 2018. I don’t claim to have a lot of experience attending bachelor parties, but I’d say I have a pretty firm grasp on the concept.

I like running. There’s a rather long list of reasons I find it appealing, but if I were to call out one attribute, it would likely be the freedom it grants for going anywhere, any time.

If you come ski touring with me I can promise you two things:

1. I’ll walk really fast, but take lots of breaks to take photos of you skiing uphill

2. I’ll sandbag you until we get to the top of a large mountain

Chunky singletrack, dry trails, crisp air and open space are just a few of the reasons I typically hop in the truck during shoulder seasons and punch it south. However, the desert (and especially Moab) is a true melting pot in the west, filled to the brim with some of the craziest individuals and recreational pairings.
