Storm #1
When the first 'real' storm finally made its way to the Wasatch, the town began to buzz. This year, a lack of early winter weather made citizens question the outlook of their upcoming season. However, this mid-November storm dropped about 30 inches in several parts of Utah. A few days after the cycle had departed, I was able to get out and enjoy it as my first day on snow.
There was also another detail that made the snow feel even lighter and the mountain steeper. The call to action was facilitated by my boss, in the name of content acquisition and necessity. So, we drove north to Logan Pass, and took a couple sleds up as far as we could. Eventually, we transitioned to skins, and fought for breath for a couple hours. While conditions hardly offered stellar photos, I was able to walk away with one big smile.
